A math teacher in Kashmir built the first solar-powered electric car in his area.

The creator, Ahmad, resides in Srinagar, which is the capital of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK). The 40-year-old math instructor told the reporters that 13 years of arduous effort and commitment went into building his automobile.

Ahmed's Educational Background:

Ahmad graduated with a degree in civil engineering in 2007. He reportedly read an article in 2009 that emphasised the need of electric vehicles (EVs) in an environment where conventional fuel is likely to become limited in the near future.

When did he Start this Project?

Ahmad asserted that the article served as the main inspiration for his endeavour. He started working on the solar EV in 2009, using online tutorials to carry out his ambitious endeavour.

Design and Project Cost:

He continued by saying that the DMC DeLorean, a well-known American automobile that was featured in the classic box office hit "Back to the Future," served as the model for his vehicle. Ahmad went on to say that he recruited a crew of 10 to 15 guys to assist him finish the job, which cost him close to $18,000 (about Rs. 4 million).

Appreciations:

Ahmad expressed his amazement at the enthusiastic response his idea garnered. He has been praised and honoured by the general public, journalists, and influential members of the government.

Anand Mahindra, an Indian IT expert, also gave Ahmad the chance to take his project to the commercial level. Ahmad said that he wants to provide his product for the benefit of society and that he is making progress in that direction.

Final Words 

In the end I would like to say about how EV are the best for our environment. They don't generate exhaust pollutants including volatile organic compounds, hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, ozone, lead, and different oxides of nitrogen, electric cars offer numerous advantages over ICE automobiles, including a large reduction in local air pollution.
