If a candidate has a strong reason for recounting then he will have to follow these instructions carefully.

  • Carefully complete the electronic/online application form.
  • Under no circumstances may a candidate's answer book be reassessed.
  • In cases where recounting does not entail re-evaluation or re-assessment of the answer books, the chairman, any officer, or recounting committee he appoints should ensure that:
  • There is no error in the overall total on the cover of the answer book; the total for each question's numerous components has been made accurately.
  • The answer book's title page has accurately moved forward all of the totals.
  • No part of any response has gone unmarked.
  • The marks sheet and the answer book's totals match.
  • The candidate's handwriting is recorded in the question-and-answer book.
  • The answer book, in whole or in part, has not been altered or separated.
  • In light of 2(iii) above, a candidate's grades may even drop. In the case that this happens, the record will be updated and a new marks sheet will be provided.
  • Within 20 days after the announcement of the results, the answer scripts can be recounted by sending a request to the Controller of Examinations (Secrecy). Similar to that, the Chairman must provide approval for an additional 10 days before they may be used.
  • On the FBISE website (www.fbise.edu.pk), students may check the Recounting status of their application.
  • The student has the right to claim the response script as their own without contesting the examiner's judgement. The interested candidates may send their requests to controller.s@fbise.edu.pk via email.
  • Documents must be issued within 20 working days after the payment verification and receipt of the completed application.
