The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cambridge Scholarship is an initiative between the province government and the University of Cambridge, according to Kamran Khan Bangash, the KP Minister for Higher Education.
The minister announced this on Twitter and described it as the beginning of the collaboration with overseas universities for professional education.

Details indicate that Pakistani students interested in pursuing their doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom are eligible for fully funded scholarships offered by the University of Engineering and Applied Sciences (UEAS), Swat, in collaboration with the Cambridge Trust (UK).

Please take note that the scholarship is jointly financed by the KP government and the University of Cambridge.

How to Apply?

Candidates are urged to go to the UEAS Cambridge website in order to submit an application for the scholarship.

Eligibility

Candidates must have obtained an offer to study a Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge beginning in the Fall of 2023 and must have submitted an application before the December/January deadline (depending on the subject/course).

The research topic must fall within one of the stated disciplines or subject areas (mentioned in the next heading).

The applicant must be a Pakistani national and be prepared to work as a faculty member at UEAS, Swat, when the programme is through.

Discipline

  • Architecture, civil engineering, and hydropower engineering.
  • Data sciences, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and cyber security are all related to computer systems engineering.
  • Engineering using electricity.
  • engineering and the study of materials.
  • Cell and molecular biology, genomics and proteomics, synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, and fermentation technologies are all examples of biological engineering.
  • Engineering for manufacturing.
